Safari Bros South Africa
Based in Johannesburg RSA, and Maun, Botswana, the diversely
experienced Safari Brothers lead organised adventure trips
along the quieter roads of Southern Africa, in quest of remote
wilderness. We passionately explore the more untouched areas,
from South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia, to as
far North as Malawi, sharing our love of the wildlife and
people of this magical, multi-facetted land. We practice Eco-Tourism
and, in doing so, intend to create an environmental awareness
on our safaris. We endeavour to make the least possible impact
on the areas through which we travel.
GUIDES
Our Safari Leaders are FGASA and D.E.A.T. registered, with years
of experience in the ways of the wild. They are chosen, not
only, for their hands-on experience, but also for their interpersonal
skills and their ability to communicate and educate clients
interested in the ways of the African world. In remote regions,
like the Okavango Delta and Kalahari in Botswana, or South Luangwa
National Park in Zambia, we utilize the skills of local guides,
giving our clients an insight into the true African culture.
VEHICLES
LANDROVERS & LANDCRUISERS
A fleet of custom-built 8 - 10 seater Land Rovers, Land Cruisers
and off-road trailers. These are fully equipped with tool
box, camping equipment, emergency spares and vehicle recovery
equipment. Removable, enlarged windows for maximum game viewing
exposure Off-road trailers that house all equipment and kitchens
are used on all remote camping safaris. Each trailer is fitted
with water tanks and awnings for protection against the sun
and rain.
BUSSES
Semi-lux 5, 14, 20 and 32-seater buses for transfers, hire
and custom-tours.
TRANFERS FOR PHISICALLY CHALLENGED
Physically challenged groups can also be catered for as selected
vehicles are equipped with Ricon hydraulic lifts/ramps and
Unwin securing straps for safe wheelchair client transportation.
EQUIPMENT
PARTICIPATION CAMPING TRIPS:
Safari Dome tents are used, being strong, durable and weatherproof
Each tent has built-in mosquito netting and comes with a full
fly-sheet for the occasional African thunderstorm. Sleeping
mats are also provided, as well as comfortable canvas chairs.
SEMI-LUXURY TOURS:
Should any of our custom-itinerary clients request a little
more comfort, larger tents, stretchers and camp assistants
can be arranged.
Our vehicles and equipment have endured the most rugged
landscapes Africa has to offer, and are trusted to take us
safely through each new adventure.
